  3. Add the Padron peppers to the skillet in a single layer. Do not overcrowd the pan; cook in batches if necessary.
  4. Cook the peppers for about 5 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are blistered and slightly charred on all sides.
  5. Remove the peppers from the skillet and transfer them to a serving plate.
