Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
- Mix the dry ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Combine the wet ingredients: In a separate bowl, mix the water, vegetable oil, apple cider vinegar, vanilla extract, and coffee.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined and no lumps remain.
- Transfer the batter into the prepared cake pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
