- 1/2 cup (120ml) water
- 1/4 cup (60ml) vodka
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Prepare the cranberries by rinsing them under cold water and discarding any that are soft or damaged.
- Combine the cranberries, sugar, and water in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir the mixture occasionally until the sugar dissolves and the cranberries begin to pop, about 10 minutes.
- Add the vodka, orange zest, and cinnamon to the saucepan. Stir well to combine.
- Simmer for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and let the sauce cool to room temperature, about 30 minutes.
